Embarking on a continuous and evolving photographic journey in Tokyo, Japan, my 35mm film project explores how living in a bustling metropolis affects the human soul. I focus on the idea of "kurogami," embracing the shadows and abstract elements that shape this urban landscape. In this world of constant company, I also seek to understand the undercurrents of loneliness that persist.The project's end remains uncertain, but along the way, I've captured numerous framed photographs and mini-series that showcase the intriguing facets of this exploration. Each image embodies the essence of "kurogami" – the fleeting and mysterious phantasms that roam the cityscape, revealing the unseen emotions and stories hidden amidst the city.
